Turn your summer slump into growth time

I took a couple of weeks off to travel and visit my family abroad.

During this time I could have written my weekly email, but I decided to give myself and you a bit of a break. You're welcome.

Downtime is great for recharge, but it's also an important pause for reflection and goal setting.

I love the fact that therapists experience a natural lull in business during the summer.

Black Pastors for Mental Health

Today was the first educational event for Black Church Leaders uniting mental health professionals and the church to help raise awareness about mental health.

This is a new one-day training for suicide prevention and improving mental health in African American communities.

Healthcare in 2050

It may sound like science fiction, but according to Reenita Das, Healthcare and Life Sciences Partner, our household appliances, like showers and toilets, will be a part of the overall healthcare system.

“By 2050, we are going to see a world where it is going to be commoditised, democratised, and consumerised,” she says.

The Takeaway

This issue was dedicated to the hidden opportunities during your summer slump.

Summer can be one of the most productive times for starting and growing your private practice.

It creates a unique opportunity to use your down time to build your brand, create new relationships and establish a strong online presence.
